Bonus Track! 'Silent To The Dark' was the band's debut single released in 2001 and included on their 2002 debut album 'Holes In The Wall'. An edited version called 'Silent To The Dark II' was re-released later that year. This is the original album version in all it's nine minutes of glory!
I love how the song unravels around 3:21 in and takes you somewhere else entirely before reeling you back in near the end - it's nothing short of an epic masterpiece... Enjoy!
The trumpet in yesterday's Moonrags post reminded me the horns in one of my all time favorite songs - the 12" Version of The Boo Radleys song 'Lazarus'! 'Lazarus' was first released as a single in 1992 - an edited version was included on their 1993 album 'Giant Steps' - and then it was re-released with remixes in 1994.
This original '12" Version' extends the reggae influenced tripped out intro for a couple minutes until around 2:54 where the full wall of sound guitars kick in... Enjoy!
